Jacob Dechenbach, Co. F?, 7th Cavalry, was enrolled Oct. 16, 1861 at Salona, Pa. and was mustered in Oct. 29, 1861 as a Musician at Camp Greble, Pa. He was aged 23. Born in Union Co., he was a resident of Centre Co., Pa. He died of disease March, 1862 at Bardstown, Kentucky. Mustered out as a Private. (??) (Bates, Vol. 2, p. 1138.)
